Description: Cedarwood, also known as “Deodar” which means “The Wood of The Gods”, is a large, evergreen tree native to the western Himalayas. It grows tall, (135-165 feet tall), and has a conic shaped crown. It is widely grown as an ornamental tree, and can survive cold temperatures down to -22F. Cedarwood Forests are common from Kashmir to Garhwal, Uttrakhand.
