Uses: Basil oil have potent antioxidant, anti-cancer, antiviral and anti-microbial properties. It is traditionally used for supplementary treatment of stress, asthma and diabetes in India. It is also used for treating pimples on the face, but noted that intake of the seeds in large quantities is harmful for the brain. Its oil have been used extensively for many years in food products, perfumery, and dental and oral products.

Description: The 'tulsi' plant or Indian basil is an important symbol in the Hindu religious tradition. Normally the plant is about two to three feet long with small green leaves. According to Hindu religion the plant with green leaves in known as 'Rama Tulsi' and the plant with purplish leaves is known as 'Shyama Tulsi'.
